Lamb's Spiced Launch

Boutique hosted the New Lambs Spiced Rum Leeds launch party. After a training session led by Gary Hayward and Professor Graham Clayton from Leeds University, bartenders from across the city were invited to compete in making their own spiced rum from raw ingredients, with some 'interesting' results! Invited guests were then treated to a night of spiced rum cupcakes, tattoo’s and massages along with a selection of specially created cocktails.

The Boutiki bar was on display as part of the Leeds Loves Food festival in Millennium Square. Viv and Rob topped up their tans serving up specially made, non-alcoholic cocktails to the general public in the glorious sunshine. The cocktails proved as popular as Viv's outfit! Boutique hosted the 'battle of the journo's cocktail comp' in may, which was great fun! Radio aire, leeds guide, yorkshire evening post and yorkshire post all entered strong teams of cocktail enthusiasts. On the day Leeds guide won the comp, but the real winner is the team that sells the most cocktails across a month at Boutique. All cocktails are listed on our specials board at Boutique for the next month and are all priced at £5.00 each, come and try them and decide who you think should win!

Boutique welcomes Gerrard into the team. Gerrard has been bartending for the past five years and has joined us on free transfer from the Faversham. On his first shift at work, Gerrard commented 'I'm really looking forward to joining the team'. Somewhat worryingly, Gerrard is now the third member of the team from Reading in Berkshire.

Our team helped the nation's favourite Street celebrate the launch of a new DVD. Held in Manchester, they provided over 1500 drinks in 80 minutes to a host of invited celebrities.
